My Story
My name is Angela and I used to work in the corporate world as a Business Development Manager working long hours and getting burnt out regularly. I came to learn this meditation when years of accumulated stress began to overshadow my everyday activity that should have been easy and fun. I was lacking an inner calm even though it may not have appeared that way on the outside. I had tried many ways to release stress but I wasn’t getting lasting results.
When I learnt Vedic Meditation, things started to shift. Some were immediate, like better sleep and an overall feeling of being more relaxed, and some started to change naturally over a period of time. Mainly life became more effortless and joyful. Over the years of practicing Vedic Meditation, every aspect of my life improved and I would even say some changes were profound - life became Bliss filled, easier, more in flow. I became more me; the real, natural and authentic, me.
I felt a calling to help others find the same feeling of inner contentedness in themselves, free from their inventory of stress, so their full capabilities could be realised. That is why I am now doing my part in giving back, and helping others realise that best experience of themselves.
I teach Vedic Meditation to help people lead happier, healthier lives.
I am passionate about teaching. I have over the years been a teacher and trainer in a variety of contexts - from teaching in schools to leading and training teams in corporate environments. Over the past decade, I have been trained by my teacher Thom Knoles (Maharishi Vyasananda Saraswati), the pre-eminent authority on Vedic knowledge and his master teachers. My studies culminated in a 3 month intensive teacher training immersion program in India with Thom. I also have a Masters of Teaching from The University of Sydney and am a certified counsellor.
